The Oscars!

As I am sure you all know by now, there were some fabulous fashion and hair choices at this year's Oscars- and some serious blunders. Luckily, I have chosen to save your eyes from the horror I am sure you all saw on TV, and show you two beauties who got it right!

Michelle Williams - 2011 Oscars

Michelle Williams rocked her classic pixie (although one has to wonder when she will switch it up a bit!)- with the perfect shade of pale blonde to accent her gorgeous and flawless porcelain skin. The one complaint I can think of is that we have seen this one her so many times, and she has the bone structure that would support so many styles, maybe its time to mix it up! On the other hand, don't fix it if it ain't broke, right?

Mandy Moore - 2011 Oscars

Mandy Moore is another lady who rarely seems to miss a beat when it comes to the red carpet, and this year is hardly an exception. Her hair is in a classic, braided ballerina bun that compliments her make-up and jewelry so perfectly! One would be foolish not to mention the rich color of her hair- what a gorgeous shade of brown with just the perfect touch of red. Her hair was perfectly controlled and delicate, as well as her dress, and as hair should be, it was the icing on the cake for her style!

Celebrity Looks: Jessica Biel

Long, glossy with a gorgeous center part

Earlier this week I shared with you some of my favorite Reese Witherspoon looks, but today I want to show you one person who almost makes me want to go brunette (I did once- it wasn't pretty)! Jessica Biel not only has a bangin' boyfriend and a rock hard bod, she also has some of the shiniest locks I have ever seen (is she using a shine rinse??)!

Celebrity Looks: Reese Witherspoon

We all have our own personal hair goddesses, and one of mine has always been, and always will be, Reese Witherspoon. There is something about her hair that I find to be just pure perfection- whether she has air dried it or it has been styled to the nines, its always fantastic! Below are a few of my favorite all time Reese looks that I wish I could make my hair look like- so far, no luck....

Trends: Bows!

Of all the hair trends out there, I have two absolute favorites: bows and headbands, and today I am all about bows! Some say they make you look like a toddler, but at least they look more legit than a tiara, right? Either way, I adore bows and I love them worn both classically and in unexpected ways. I have collected some pictures of gorgeous bow sporting ladies, and I am sharing my collecting of bow inspiration with you :)

Whether they are worn disheveled or neat, bows will always make your heart skip a beat!

Product Review: Blow's Faux Dry Shampoo

Today I am reviewing Blow's Faux Dry Shampoo, and not only am I reviewing it, there is also an insanely awkward and horrifying video of my applying it (please note- dry shampoo is something best applied when alone...). So please, sit back, relax and watch me discover and demonstrate a fabulous product!

The powder you see in the video truly does dry sheer, so you do not see any residue of what would otherwise look like baby powder. It seems to come out white, and once it is thoroughly massaged in and soaks up all the oil, it becomes invisible. It is also fragrance free, which is definitely an added bonus!
