Yesterday after having brunch at the beloved Cafe Hon, I could not help but visit one of my favorite stores in Baltimore, TROHV. They have some very unique pieces, and absolutely amazing furniture. Although I live in a tiny apartment, I am still always working on adding pieces and changing it up. I had been looking for something to spice up my entryway- and I found just the piece!!

Nothing too fancy, but super cute in my opinion, and just the perfect piece I needed. Super functional, and goes with my color scheme. Score for Cada!
On a completely different note, I got the chance to go to a lovely fundraiser this weekend to fight homelessness in Baltimore, and among one of the lovely surprises that we were in store for, we got to see Jewel perform! I used to be a huge Jewel fan, with her song "Hands" being an old favorite. I haven't heard her songs in a good while, but it inspired me to download a couple of my old favorites from her, and they are just as good as I remember! She shared some of her history with us as well, and I must have not known much about her personal life, because I did not realize she was actually homeless for a period of time when she was 19 years old. How that shapes a person I can only imagine, but it certainly adds a new dimension to her. She also explained the background of some of her songs, which I really enjoyed!
