I <3 Christmas

I hope everyone has been having a great holiday season!! I have, although I wish I didn't have to work everyday except Christmas Day and New Years Day, but I suppose thats the life of a recent grad who was lucky enough to find a job!

But onto the more interesting stuff! Below is my treasured Christmas gift from my mother. I had been wanting a jewelry box big enough to organize everything so that I can see all my option, but still attractive enough so I won't have to hide it in my itty bitty studio apartment I am about to move into! And she found it (and monogrammed it too!!!!)! I will post a few other favorite gifts from my fam later, but I just wanted to share this particular little piece of joy with you all now!

The Snowy Aftermath

So this is what my backyard looks like. And yes, thats a solid 24 inches on snow. Unfortunately the city pulled off a miracle and plowed every street as soon as the snow stopped last night, and the roads are perfectly clear. Thanks...

I was really hoping that due to bad road conditions, work would be forced to close tomorrow and I would get a snow day.... just like the old days!! Oh how I miss them!

A Tad of Toile

So I have finally decided on my bedding for my new apartment. It was a difficult decision since my apartment is a studio, and therefore the bed will be the main focal point of the room. I found this yellow toile to be the perfect touch of color, yet also clean and not too overpowering so that I can have a few other pops of color throughout the room. 

However, I have noticed that my main color scheme has started to become white and black, with touches of yellow and red (hello Chi O!). Hopefully it won't turn out too be too obvious! Now I just need to pick out the bathroom color scheme, any ideas??

Hello All!

Although I used to have a blog, I had stopped writing it for the past few months, and have now re-birthed it on blogger! I am so excited to have it back, as I have so many exciting things going on.

Mainly, I am moving out of my parents house (I did just graduated from college in May, so its not that bad...), and into my first, very own apartment! I cannot even describe how excited I am, and I cannot wait to take plenty of pictures of everything I am getting for it, and pictures of everything as I decorate it. I hope you all enjoy reading it as much as I ADORE writing it.
